31 Jul Under the Sea
And last but not least here are some photos from our visit to Haus des Meeres in Vienna. It’s a zoo mostly consisting of aquariums, terrariums and also natural designed rooms with free running little monkeys and free flying birds.
When I think back to my first visit around 9 years ago, I didn’t like it at all, because it was unattractive and the air was bad. When I visited it again two years ago with my sister, so much had changed and it was really great to visit. And this time there was even more to see. All in all I took over 400 photos! But it was pretty hard to take good photos, because of the lighting and the glass between the animals and my camera, but a lot of them are pretty nice.
This fish was constantly posing for photos *lol*
Chilling on a branch.
Do you need some anti-wrinkle body lotion?
Oh oh… Green mamba sighted!
2 cute bearded dragons.
Not angry bird!
And now kiss!
This monkey would be great for the “Soon”-meme, don’t you think?
Better not fall down there…
Still in the “Soon”-mood, aren’t you?
Angry turtles…
So cool! I love the feathers and the beak!
Beautiful purple feathers!
Hungry piranha
Jellyfish
Hi Mr. Octopus!
Love how the fish on the right side looks like he’s thinking “Oh no, I don’t want to be on this picture!”
Love these little guys. I always have to think of the annoying worms in Qufim Island (FFXI insider)…
So many colorful fish. This aquarium especially looks great!
Little Nemo.
Haha, this one is so funny! The eyes are just hilarious and it’s turning them around all the time.
Here’s a video I took of it:
Seahorse
Sharky
Funny picture, They all look the same, don’t they? And then you can see one another fish (at least halt of it) swimming in the other direction.
So cute, they came so close!
Even if it’s a little blurry, it’s so cute, how he hangs on the tree!
Angry bird?
Japanese spider crabs. They look a little terrifying, but my father told me that you can eat them and the taste really good…
Derp fish
Oh, I love chameleons!
So colorful! I’m a little worried, that it might have looked that way, because it was stressed. I hope not.
There were so many more animals. You can check the whole photoset on my Flickr.
